PERSONAL PROFILE 
As a qualified counsellor and clinical supervisor I have worked extensively and consistently, gaining a wide experience and successfully provided positive change and help for many people.
Experience
I provide a Gosport Counselling Service for adults (men and women), individuals and couples. I am also an experienced youth and school counsellor for children and young people from 11+.
As well as my private practice, I work as a member of Aquilis Counselling Service,providing independent counselling, mediation, and traumatic incident response for Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust staff and also counselling for maternity and fertility patients.
I also have specific knowledge and skills to help with bereavement and loss, anxiety and depression and issues of conflict e.g. relationship problems, bullying and harrassment.
My training in the field of counselling and psychotherapy began as a volunteer bereavement counsellor for the Rowan's Hospice - Portsmouth - and as an accredited Cruse Bereavement Counsellor. Currently I provide some voluntary counselling hours locally, in support of Harbour Cancer Support Centre at Gosport.
I have 3 grown up children and draw from many rich life experiences in my work. I welcome difference and work with lesbian/gay and racial diversity.
Qualifications:
- 'Working with Bereaved People' - University of Portsmouth/Rowans Hospice.
- Accredited Cruse Bereavement Counsellor.
- Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling.
- Diploma in Clinical Supervision.
- Accredited Member of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy Accreditation.
- Certificates in CBT (Cognitive Behavioural /Therapy).
- Diploma NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) .
- Mediation UK
- Diffusing and Debriefing
- Bullying/Harassment.
